Camps & Respite Days

קייטנות הקרן לנפגעי טרור

Caring for future generations - Since 2009, the Fund has been operating camps for children and teens from terrorist-impacted families recognized by the Fund.

The camps are held during school holidays: Sukkot, Hanukkah, Passover, and summer break.
Camps are free of charge and fully funded by the Jewish Agency and its partners: Keren Hayesod and the Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA).

The camps provide an opportunity for relief, experience, and enjoyment, along with elements that foster resilience and personal capability—such as animal-assisted therapy workshops, therapeutic performances integrating psychotherapy and reflective processing, ODT workshops for developing personal resilience, and more.

The camps enable terror-impacted children to experience social activities with children in their age group who share similar experiences. Over the years, longtime friendships are forged between the participants.

All activities are coordinated with Moked Teva of the Ministry of Education and are approved by the Jewish Agency’s Security Division.
